You know, the Giraffe that was in Kiddie Kingdom. It's sad that it's gone.:(

Oh my....that is one heck of a giraffe. Does anyone know where it went? I cant imagine someone would want to buy a giraffe like that. Im guessing it's in storage or something.

How about it? Just where DID it go? Another park? Maybe under restoration? Interesting...It looks in pretty good shape in that pic Walt posted (circa 2003). Just where would they move it and why?

Another Cedar Point mystery on our hands, folks...

The Lemon Chill Guy told me the whole story. The removal of the giraffe was necessary for the addition of a new ride for next year. ;)

Anyways, I too wonder about the reason for its disappearance.

Ahh...but why would they take it down? Come to think of it, it would be fun to have a big fake girrafe standing next to my house. Maybe I can take it home with me after my trip in 13 Days! Twoot twoot! Just kidding, but really, I would bet that some people would be willing to buy it for some reason or another.

First the Hippo, now the Giraffe! What is Kiddie Kingdom coming to? Aaaah well. Maybe they will refurb it and re-use it somewhere in the park! The fact that it is sitting at P&D may indicate they want to fix 'em up. Here's hoping.

I can't believe I didn't notice that before. I got the feeling something was missing in that area, but I completely overlooked the giraffe.

It was most likely removed due to the new concrete throughout Kiddy Kingdom.

Why it wasn't replaced, however... who knows. The giant alien-eyed thing will be missed. ;)

As we left the Gemini station this afternoon my 9 year-old noticed the Giraffe's legs protruding horizontally from behind a Radisson sign behind the P&D building.

A rather undignified locale for the majestic figure, if you ask me.

By the way: What does "P&D" stand for?

Your 9-year-old has some good vision. Do you mean the Breakers, because the Radisson isn't visible by Gemini's station.
