The Future: Demon Drop and Big Dipper Connection?

Big Dipper is not damaged and is still totally intact. There is still hope for the ride to operate again. Wolfbobs, not so much. It is missing quite a bit of wood. Ripcord is still there also. There also have been conflicting report as to if the carousel is still on the property. Last time I was there I could still see it through my camera lens.

There was an article a few months back stating that the carousel was currently being refurbished for use at another Cedar Fair Property. However, I wonder how long something like that would really take. It seems to me there has been enough time.

Depending on how much work they do and how old the carousel is, I would imagine it would take awhile. Restoring or refurbishing a carousel can sometimes take months or even years to complete.

I'll take the Ripcord if they aren't using it!

Let's Get Weird.

When did they dismantle skyscraper at GL?

^ I think early this year was when it was dismantled and relocated. As far as Raging Wolf Bobs goes, does anybody think that eventually this ride will just become scrap? I mean since the auction, they've sold one piece of track of it and now the coaster from reports has been falling apart. Big Dipper, I'm curious, did a fan buy it, or did another park buy it? I forget off the top of my head?

^ That's a good question. I remember reading that the Big Dipper sold for $5,000 at the auction. But the buyer remained anonymous, at least at the time.
