I've heard time and time again about the posibility of a parking lot move and the monorail idea, which will probably never happen. However, IF they did decide to go through with it...where would the parking lot be moved to? CP still has plenty of land to build coasters on, but a parking lot is a pretty big thing to move. Where do they have room for that?
they don't IMHO..

I never believed this rumor from day one. CP is not Disneyworld. A monorail??????
It's not going to happen...

I heard that ohio put a law saying that could cut down the number of parking sites. i heard they might build a parking garge.
I don't believe that CP will ever build a parking garage. Something like that would break up the scenery too much, and that is one of the reason so many people come to the point (besides it's great coasters). But anyway, the monorail rumor has been going around ever since I worked there way back when! No truth to it...
Just a thought. What about the possibility of Breakers getting a parking garage to free up some land for future development? Again, just a thought.
We've gone over this a lot...but doesn't CP still have plenty of room for developement. I've seen maps of the park that show quite a bit of land towards the end of the pennisula. Seems to me they could still fit several coasters out there...especially if they took away some of the Soak City parking lot...
Is that land you see the camp grounds? If so im not sure they are quick to pull the trigger and dump that feature of the park
A parking garage could be built. Not becouse of no room for rides, but rather no room for the cars. I don't know where they put all those cars sometimes. I can just think what parking is going to be like next season.

To start, the new parking garage at Cleveland Hopkins Int. Airport cost a couple hundred million dollars. They are not cheap to build. A garage that could handle all of the cars at CP would be very expensive and probably out of their budget.

A monorail is possible, or even a bus system from Cleveland Road. I know that CP has been trying to buy up all the land possible on Cleveland Road.
I was talking about a add on to the current parking lot.

Speaking of buying that land on cleveland Road, we had chatted about this a while ago, and to most of the natives, it is common knowledge that CP owns most of that area in question. The question that remains, though, is: "How much?" A while ago we were going to try and send someone snooping through the public records of Sandusky, but that sort of never happened. Oh well...
