the frount seat of mf

i live in England and as soon as i found out about mf i wasd there. i road it 1mounth after it opened. it is my favorot ride and the best. i road it in the second to back and 3rd from the frount as thay were the seats that i was ushered to. can you ask to ride the frount or do you have to offer bribes.
They allow you to wait for the front or back seats, other seats are first come first serve.

I rode in the front.
It was cool.
But i suggest you do not open your mouth.
You WILL swallow bugs.
You can wait for the front, but be prepared - it is usually 30-50 minutes extra.

The first couple of months, they were pretty strict about filling up the train, but you can now wait for the front or the back.

thanks to any one who replied above you have been a great help

But i tell you, that extra 30-50 minute wait is well worth it, there is nothing else like sitting in the front on MF.
In response to the bugs....it is only bad in the morning or at dusk when the temperature starts mellowing out. In really hot temps, I have never had problems with bugs. Ride it in the forn no matter how long of a wait!
I was at CP on media day when MF open for the first time. I made it a point to ride because it was my 60th year on earth and I was determined to ride the tallest fastest coaster there was (in the USA).Just to prove I still could.

It was great. I rode middle and then front ,as we went over the top I sorta leaned out of the right side and as we dropped It was the most amazing ,floating, free falling, rush of air, and speed thing It seemed to go on forever .And then there was the bottom of the hill...

Ah yes, I remember in 2000 when they did placement for all the seats on MF. There is nothing more golden than being placed (or having the choice) in the front seat of the greatest ride in the world...

I was there on opening day this year, and after riding Wicked Twister twice AND meeting Dick Kinzel, I waiting only 15 minutes (!) for the front row on Millenium Force. That was only my second ride, and the best.

I love Wicked Twister,
and Raptor too.

Millennium Force is awesome in the front. I always hear somebody saying that the second seat is just as good because the seats are stadium style. (i hate it when someone who hasn't ridden the front seat says it.) But the front is still a lot better.
I do like the front seat on MF but the way back has a nice whipping feel to it especially over that first drop.
AHAH last time I rode MF, twice I got the first cart second seat, and its pretty much almost the same except for a few heads. I was lucky and didn't have to wait like an hour.

I agree, for the extra wait (none), the second seat is just as good.
The back is great because over every hill you get pulled over the hill. Unlike in the front seat over the 1st drop, you have some speed goin over the top.

Superman: Ride Of Steel-
almost as good as Millennium Force

The coolest thing is when it's closing day, your in the front row on the first train out of the day, and as you're passing the que after the bump everyone is clapping (I would have cried if the wind was drying out my eyes)

I'm not an old foggy I'm just an old coaster rider..

I remember when CP had Triple-A day on May 7th,2000. They were only running two trains. Luckily we got there early and hit the 3rd train out. The waits were herendous though. Then the next week was opening day, and there was nothing like it. Every time a train went up the lift or by the line, evrybody who was anybody was cheering. It was so packed in that area and a very intense aura was making the atmosphere. I'll never forget its first season, there was so much that happened.

I find it funny that I didn't wait for the front seat last time I rode MF, but then again I waited for the last train. I got in line just before they closed it off, then got a pop. [I know it's a ripoff, but I don't care] As they closed the gates, the entrance crew said 'either you wait up there, or don't ride' as I started walking through the line. There was about 18 people behind me, pretty decent chance of getting last train. As I walked up to the station, the second to the last train was filling up. The attendant told me to stop. She went to show some of the people to rows, and realizing there were about 3 open rows. She told me to fill up one of those rows. I notified her than there was less than a train left in line. She agreed after short amount of time. Since the front seat was empty for the end of the night, I got it. I still can't believe I got the last front public ride on MF of the 2002 season. I was extremely excited, and it was the best possible way to close the 2002 season for me.
