the end of balloons

For some reason I started thinking about what it was like to go to amusement parks as a child and this got me thinking about smurf village and balloons.

I remember as a child in the 1980's there were always balloons for sale and you almost never see them anymore. They do not appear to be in any of the larger parks. They were once a staple at both carnivals and big parks.

Anyone remember why or when this ended?

It ended because to many people we popping them in RCT3. ;)

You can only pop balloons in RCT2. My favorite was when you won a scenario, and they all stopped to clap, so they released their balloons, and they just popped like popcorn in the air.

You can pop balloons in RCT3. They can even pop in the peeps hands.
