The Chuck Wagon Inn

The chicken here is very good. Expensive but very good. I try to eat here at least once a year. I also like the atmosphere here with old signs hanging on the wall.

I like the Chuck Wagon Inn also. I think it's a pretty good deal, as far as prices go at CP, and I've always had a tasty meal. The chicken is good, and also the country fried steak is very good.

Chuck Wagon...what's that? lol. It has become a ritual of mine to eat there for a meal every time I go. It's usually quiet, peaceful, and... air-conditioned.

In addition to everything that's been said already about the Chuck Wagon (atmosphere, quiet, good value, good food, air conditioning), I guarantee that you'll never leave there hungry.
I think the Chuck Wagon is great, everyone else pretty much covered the basics. I usualy try to eat there a few times out of the year.

Only one caveat: beware the macaroni and cheese. It's the only mac-n-cheese in the universe that my daughter won't eat.
I agree, Very good place to eat. *drools* BBQ Chicken, yummm. One of my favs. :)

Metallica, Magnum and Mountain Dew, and finally turning 21...what could be better?

Now is this the place with the famous make-your-own salad? I've heard tell about such a place, but I wasn't sure if it actually existed.

It's not really "make your own." It's more like "tell the person behind the counter what you want on it, and they'll construct it for you". However, it is one of the few places in the park to get something that isn't grilled, fried, or entirely sugar-based.

Not that there's anything wrong with those things. ;)

I think maybe when you refer to make your own salad, you may be thinking of the Midway Market.

I believe the Frontier Inn bills their salad as "make your own", but it's just as Brian described. You tell them what you want on it, and they'll pile it high. Good value!
Gee I am happy they never had us making salads when I worked there. The muffleheads would have looked like little pepper spots when you cover them with dressing!
