Why did they turn off the cam on top of TTD, that was such a great view of everything, just wondering
Why would you start ANOTHER thread about this topic. Try using the search button and type in "TTD CAM." Don't start a new thread unless the topic has never been discussed before.
Use common sense when you search. If you find a topic that's three years old, don't dig it back up just to say that you agree with a post or something.
So if the post is old and he posts on it he gets bitched at, and if he starts a new one on it he would get bitched at. Makes alot of sense.

Yeah thats a bit unfair. Let him post however he likes. If you dont have anything to comment that pertains to the topic then I have an idea, DONT POST!!!!! People may do stuff that may not agree with you, but let's not make them feel bad because we dont like it.
K?!:)

I disagree. I'd want a person to tell me when I make a pointless, already discussed topic. It keeps this forum nice and organized, and not full of topics with 1 or 2 replies.
The cam on top of TTD was said to have just broke. (Info from the On Point blog) Why they never fixed is odd, but that's just the way it is.

Sounds like a job for a moderator, if you ask me.
CP4eva'04 is exactly right - its a lose-lose situation on these boards. Someone is always mad, calling either "thread necrophelia" or saying "do a search - this has been discussed before!".

Well which way is following the rules? If you make a new post on it you get flamed. If you bring out the old post you get flamed. So please tell us which is the "right" way so that the rules are followed.
Bringing up a three year old thread to say "cool" or restate what everyone said three years ago - BAD
Starting a new thread to ask a question that has been discussed several times in the last few months - BAD
Starting a new thread to ask a question that was discussed 3 years ago - OK. The information may very well have changed.
Bringing up a 6 month old thread to add to the discussion (don't just say "cool" or "I agree") is fine too.
