What kind of rag is this timesonline? Can they afford an editor?
I saw that link from the Drudge Report. He had several other links to stories about it too.

WTF??? Was it just me, or did the guy that wrote that article contradict himself like 3 or 4 times??

"If you're standing in an uncomfortable position, that means you are in the right position because you are riding Mantis!" - Mantis ride op doing spiels on closing day.

f**k you the british controled the world at one point and are your only suporter in the war on irac so watch it fool

I pity da fool who don't support our cause in Irac. Seriously though, tell me when the British controlled the world. Last I checked they controlled the English colonies in America over 200 years ago and we took them back with a simple war. Seriously, it's 2003 and not 1763. I think we're all glad to have the British on our side, we're just enjoying a little laugh over the article.

We have a problem with "Irac" ??

Wow.. I've been watching the wrong news then..

"The rollercoaster will beat by more than 200ft the tallest ride record — 318ft set in 2000 by the Steel Dragon rollercoaster at Nagashima Spaland in Mie, Japan"

420-318 = 200?

The only thing worse than people who make grammar mistakes are the people who have to point it out every ****ing time.

I don't have anything against the British, I just think the guy that wrote that article is a moron.

Ok, I'll tell you. They had the Americas, and India, Hong Kong, a couple of Caribbean islands (still have those), parts of South America, much of Africa, some other parts of Asia and the Pacific Rim, need I continue? They didn't just make up the saying "the sun never sets on the British Empire."

Now you know (and knowing is half the battle!)

From what I gathered from the legible parts, I still don't understand how this relates to the article...it wasn't over the possible war. Mike, get a dictionary or something.

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

Ok, I think that this officially the MOST RIDICULOUSLY STUPID argument I have ever seen. Keep it up, guys.
What about the Romans? Yeah! They had a big Empire too! But history repeats itself! The fool who doesn't know history is doomed to repeat it!-Sarek

"The greatest leaders don't take credit for their actions; they don't have to."

That is possibly the stupidest article written about Cedar Point...ever. Worse even than the articles that attempt to compare it to Six Flags. I feel like more of an imbecile just by reading it. Do'h!

Wise men say, a world without coasters is monotony.

I'm not sure what's worse... the article itself (which would be OK if it weren't for a few typos), or the anti-British comments in here (which even with typos, would still be pretty poor).
