The back car was missing from one of the trains

When i was at cedar point, i noticed the back car of one of the trains was off, and someone working on the back of another car. In the station, there was a crew working on the queue. Maybe the are adding a extra seat, where the motor, and wheels were.

This might be good news. They are probably adding extra seats or returning the theming.

I don't know much about the trains, so I'm probably wrong about this, but it seems that it would be really, really, really difficult to just "refigure" the car to add two seats.

Seems they would have to fabricate a whole new car, or at least spend a really long time on them (much more than a few weeks). But like I said, I don't know much about the design of the cars.

I always thought this too. Wouldnt be the most simple thing to throw on. There would be the mounting of lapbars and the mechanisms for the lapbars also besides the seats. Could be done for sure, but it would take some time. (then again it has been and will be down for some time, so who knows they might be doing it but could be theming as well.)

If they can't bolt a mock engine and tires to the back and make it stay, what makes them think they can do it with seats? ;)

I believe they have to inform the state or something of the sort in order to let them know they are adding additional seating, and that would take time. I believe they are just adding the themeing back on.

They probably used the crain you could see from the Station Cam last night. The crain's there again right now. I think they're taking another car off.

They won't let me look at that cam as a stand alone.. it is an archived photo from earlier.

Well I plan to return the end of July and then again in August.... so I think they will have it all set by then (fingers crossed)

Ok, the trucks are weird. They never have vehicles on the midway while the park is open, except for those little ambulence thingies. You can see that they are moving trains back to the station from the transfers.
