The #1 overlooked thing at Cedar Point is...

The trash cans. Seriously. You don't have to go more than 20 feet in any direction to get to a trash can. It's great!

The Blue Streak. Ever since that big green thing, it's been hidden from the main midway, and the lines have been much shorter.
Most overlooked thing to me is the Haunted House that is right there as soon as you walk in during Halloweekends, I miss it all the time :)

The ground is the most overlooked thing at CP. I see people looking over it all the time.

If there were a record for most trash cans in a park, CP would have it. What pisses me off is when people decide to litter as if walking 10 feet to find one of the gazzilion cans is a hard thing to do.

Gemini is the more than overlooked, its the best all around coaster. Great airtime, some nice laterals, great capacity, a good first drop, headchoppers and handsmacking!

I guess I interpreted this question a little differently, as in what has been overlooked that could stand to be fixed. In my opinion, shade! Especially along the Main Midway and in the Iron Dragon area, there are far too few trees for shade. Those umbrellas don't really do anything. People are forever getting heatstroke and sunstroke, and while there are things you can do yourself to help prevent that, having a shadier pathway to walk on would help tremendously. Going from the Midway back to the Frontier Trail, the temperature drop is noticeable.

As in good stuff that is overlooked, I agree with a lot of what's already been posted, but I'll also say 2 things: the lookout deck by Thunder Canyon, because it is so classic to watch the rafts go by and laugh at the people that didn't really believe they'd get wet on the ride. #2: The beach! That is, after all, what Cedar Point was first built as a resort for, and it is really a superb beach - soft sand, nice and shallow for a long way out, pleasant water temperature, and it's a shame that more people don't add that extra day to appreciate it!

Actually, the sand on the beach reminds me more of a soft soil than sand. I guess I prefer my sand to be the Clearwater white variety, but I can't help but be reminded of my garden when I see the beach first thing in the morning after it's been raked over.

The beach is great. The path from Breakers to Sandcastle Suites is even better(and overlooked by many). That path offers great views(and many great photo locations) of Soak City, the beach and Magnum.

How can you say the Gemini is overlooked? It has been one of most popular rides since opening. In fact, I think it was the most ridden ride last year and the year befor that.

The most overlooked thing at Cedar Point is the beach.

Don't let life fly by.

I say the most overlooked things at Cedar Point are... Wildcat and CC Mine Ride. Also, I've seen almost no one go here, so I'd say Happy Frier French Fries. (Either that or all the stuff by Camp Snoopy's drawing people away. I could be wrong...)

I've noticed this too. I asked somone about it and the reason there are so few trees is because of the Summer Spectacular shows. Too many trees will block the view of the the screen and the 'works.

Hmmm, that's true down by the Iron Dragon, I hadn't thought of that. But along the Main Midway, certainly, and possibly in Soak City/Challenge Park there could be more shade trees.

Far and away, the most overlooked aspect of Cedar Point is the incredible workers. Not even at the Disney Parks are they as well trained, efficient, and curteous.
I agree Blue Streak is overlooked. I rode it once and was hooked! It is a great ride, has great airtime, and is in great shape for such an old coaster.

When I went in May, the employees seemed kind of sad. I guess I would too if I had to stand in the rain and cold all day!
The plentiful flat rides, even if they do run them wrong.
The food stands across the old oceana stadium! You never see a line there and the employees look so board all the time!!! Also, the frontier trail, one of the quietest and coolest places in the park. *** This post was edited by chris l on 7/9/2001. ***
