I know this may seem weird but I have to say a Big Thanks to Walt. Why? I met Walt today and he had his Camera and Bag with him so we could all enjoy this web site. He was at Skyhawk to get LOTS of pictures for us and I just have to say Thanks Walt for all you do for us on this site.
(And Thanks for all the others as well)(I only saw walt today)
RIP MR.SCOTT The ONLY MAYOR OF LIGHTHOUSE
Thank You Walt.... I just went through the Project 2007 Galleries and all of the photos look great!!! You do a great job with this site along with you also Jeff!!! Thank You both for providing a resource for all of us Cedar Point Fans.
"If it looks good, you'll see it; if it sounds good, you'll hear it, if it's marketed right, you'll buy it; but... if it's real, you'll feel it."
I was looking at the aerial pictures of the construction area, you can almost see the layout of this thing. Very cool!!
Thank You Walt and Jeff... Those pictures are amazing, but I don't know why you guys take so many pictures for us. You need to take it easy, Take a break... that way we'll have to go to Cedar Point to witness what's going on. Wink Wink.

Thank you Walt and Jeff for all that you do for us here. You guys are like my eyes and ears of CP.
RIDE ON, and ON and ON and ON and ON and ON...
It seems like Walt & I were like a ground-hog and his shadow this weekend. He was about 5 minutes behind me checking in this weekend, although I did not know it was him next to me at the hotel desk at the time. I saw him in the hall the next morning, and my PointBuzz shirt caught his attention, and we had a nice meet-and-greet at that time. Later, I saw him in the lobby while I was in the Breakfast Express area. Then again at the park when I was getting my very first perch at Cedar Point.
Anyway, it was a pleasure to meet you Walt!

Nice job Walt. Can't wait to see those HD videos from around the park.
What ever happened to throwing them on BT? Or did you just decide to not do it with the Media Day videos?

Goodbye MrScott
John
I was excited for Lotsapalooza (sp?). It sounded like a cool name, but now I realize it's a female store. Is it all like that? Anyway, Walt you are awesome. It's nice to have a site with friendly people and great coverage.
PS: Tank, how was the perch?
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
The perch was not bad at all. It was obviously expensive. The combo was perch & fries for 7.49, but, as I was on my way to the picnic, I only wanted perch. So, for 4.95 I got my perch fillet. Yup, that's singular. It was not a tiny fillet, I will admit it was a large piece of fish, but it was all alone in that paper boat. It was nicely done, crunchy on the outside, and the perch inside was cooked completely, and it was not overcooked. Doubtless an IQF product, but a fairly high-end product, not lame at all.
For finally being able to munch a perch fillet and look out on Lake Erie from the concrete of a CP midway, I'd give it about a 7 out of 10. Now, if they can do that in mid-July when the line is 30 people deep and the oil keeps cooling down and taking longer to cycle, remains to be seen.
But, this time around, it was all it could have been. It was a good thing.
