The summer of 2000, Millenium got zapped by lightning on 7/14. My wife and I left Pittsburgh after a wedding and arrived@ 4:00am. Sandcastle was all booked up, and we went to Breakers. They had 1 room left, we went to the room and there was a "Do not disturb" on the door. LMAO I went by Fridays' and called the room, and there was someone in the room. We went back to the desk, told the desk clerk, who flipped out, I was laughing. ( I really did not think we could get a room, but it was worth a try). She told me to wait, and came back 5 min later, and said that there was 1 more room and they would charge us the same amount as the other room. They gave us the Presidental Suite, and was it kick a**, whirlpool tub (with surrounding mirrors!!), marble floors, 3 beds, it was the works!! As for the Saturday morning, I found out about MF, so we stayed in the room for awhile, and later that night (11:00pm), I got a beer at the saloon, walked by MF, just as they opened it. I heard the Head-Honcho went to Germany to get a new mother board, came back and they opened it for 2 hrs. We rode 3 times in 45 min. When they sent the 1st train, people actually were strapping themselves in @ Mantis and got off. Thanks to CP for my best day there!!!!
I stayed at the suite at closing weekend, and it is awesome, but I dident get much use of the balcony because it was soooo windy and cold

O M G, you are so very lucky to have gotten it. By the way power tower blaster, I agree that CP is way better than six flags. I like the sea world part of the new "six flags worlds of adventure", but the rest can go for all I care. I went on the big dipper and it ruined the rest of the day. Sp power tower.. I completely agree with that quote.
