Thanks Crew

I thought I would thank whoever it was that took time to apologize to my group and I on the 9th.  During the Joe Cool ERT he was trying to empty the queing line and everyone cut began to jump the railing and cut us since we were on the outside of it.  After about 20 minutes he still remembered us and took time to apologize if we got screwed for waiting.  I just thought that was very generous of him to say that, even though we weren't mad at him he was just doing his job.  Just one of those employees that Cedar Point is known for thanks alot.  Also one of the people in the Joe Cool ERT yelled at him b/c he was moving the line and said that they should make it a half an hour longer b/c he had to walk around some people and lost 5 minutes of his time tops.  That was just down right wrong, people make me so mad sometimes.  If anyone he should have been mad at the Cedar Point for opening the gates at 9:30 instead of 10.  Well thanks for the apology whoever it was on the crew.

Agreed!  As a ride operator working on one of the Joe Cool rides, I found it a bit rediculous that they let the general public into the park at 9:30, but we were only supposed to let people with Joe Cool wristbands ride.  On Magnum the most we ever had for a Joe Cool ERT was 94 riders in that hour.  The first time they opened up the gates at 9:30, we just started letting everyone ride figuring it wouldn't be good to create an angry mob at the entrance.  One of the Joe Cool people complained, we get yelled at.  Next time, only people with wristbands can ride leading to many angry and confused people at the entrance.  We were sending empty trains or trains with 1-5 people at most.  I think on the Joe Cool days, they should just open the gates at 10 to eliminate these problems.

that morning was an odd one. ritchie n' i were told completely different things. then i doing what i am used to opening entrance at portables, then i got told to close them. then th rush came. what a mess. i am at entrance most of th time, but it was never like this. a mad rush. it was only myself ritchie and i believe dorian...or it could've have been kim and rob. all th mornings are one now. though we tried to keep order and peace. i tried to get angry, i used th microphone. then people started to jump oever silver bars. it was maddening. it was one of th longest lines. not only that joe cool was still coming in. i can ever say is we try to make everyone happy, and SAFE for th ride. we try
