Thank you Doug (Pagoda Bluetag)

All season long I was debating wether or not to buy a Cedar Point windbreaker. A few weeks ago I finally broke down and plopped down the $49 to get the jacket that I wanted. Tonight while I was at the park, wearing said jacket, the zipper broke. The entire front of the zipper pull just came off and the teeth wouldn't hold together anymore.

I went over to the Pagoda gift shop (where I purchased the jacket) to see if they could help me out at all. I was pointed to the bluetag of the store, Doug, who was very helpful and allowed me to do an even exchange for another jacket even without a reciept. Doug was very friendly when I spoke to him and was very understanding.

Thank you, Doug, for helping make my evening at the park a good one.

I hereby, officially, give props to Doug. :)

While Doug did a nice thing for you, it really wasnt that big of a deal for the park. I mean, its not like you can get that jacket at your local Walmart where CP might be suspicious that you bought it elsewhere since you didnt have your receipt.

But, like I said, that was nice of him to do that for you.

Interesting, I post something about a good experience at the park and I get no responses other than "that was nothing big." On the flip side, I post about a bad experience at the Point (i.e. Ripcord) and I get 5 pages of replies. What's the deal?

To me, I expect this type of service from the park and there wouldn't have been much I could have added to this thread. However, in the Ripcord thread (at least I assume that's the one you're thinking of), it appeared like you were describing a genuinely bad experience and I felt that some of the responses (or excuses rather) from the crew were not appropriate so I jumped in.
