While I never paid attention to post count totals until recently (when others mentioned theirs), I have reached a milestone, of sorts. This post is number 2000 for me. Some may view that as good, some as bad. Whatever, it's here.
I have been a member of this online community for a long time. 5 or 6 years. Guide to the Point, Virtual Midway, Pointbuzz...been there the whole time and watched them evolve.
For this, the 2000 rambling, I just want to say thanks. First, to Jeff and Walt for making this site possible. Most of you have no idea how much work, time, and love these guys put into this site. Hell, I really don't. But, I do know they pursue this site with a passion. And that's what makes it successfull.
And thank you, readers and posters, for providing me with online entertainment and news. This is great community to be involved with. I encourage others who enjoy CP to visit whenever I can. There is no place better to visit CP online than here.
And that includes the official Cedar Point website.

You know I hate to do this.
Rule 4:
We also dislike anything along the lines of "first post" or an announcement about the number of posts you've made. It's not the quantity, it's the quality that counts.
2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator
Sorry, I did violate that and didn't know I was doing so when I posted. I guess I was just overcome with the emotion of the moment. ;)
It hasn't been 6 years yet and I haven't read up to rule 4 yet.
Give me so more time.

I don't know if I ever bothered looking at rules on forums after joining my first one. But congrats anyway MrScott, I guess its a good thing. ;)

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
In the interest of fairness, I'll go ahead and close this. But thanks for the kind words and for being part of the "11/1/1999" gang!
