Well if Famous Dave's will be open I'll have to go there. :)
The reason I didn't think it would be was because when I checked Cedar Point's site before it said they would be open (I THINK) from June - October. Maybe this was the schedule from last year?
I use the marina entrance next to Snoopy rocks on ice to get there right?

Except that one isn't within walking distance of the park.
Friday's is our favorite place to go for lunch if we decide we want to stop and actually sit and eat. Otherwise I stick to quick-service, we tried Midway Market and I won't be going there again. We might do Famous Dave's if I'm in the mood for some Devil's Spit ribs.

Only problem with Fridays though is sometimes there can be really long waits. I have been lucky to avoid them but I have seen it a few times now when there was about an hour wait. Most of the time if I remember right the waits were more towards the evening hours. As park and hotel guests decide to eat there. Famous Dave's is great, much better in my opinion than the boathouse. Except for the sweet potato fries! I miss those! Sidetracks in Ypsi has them, and I can't get enough!
MrScott, come on, usually you are better than this. :)
Allan Birmantas sr was disagreeing with Newt's claim that Famous Dave's is better than Boathouse. :) He wasn't talking about the comment stating TGIF was the busiest.
However. . .as a TGIF employee in Michigan, I disagree with that claim as well, that CP's is the busiest. And if it is, I feel bad, because the service there is substandard -- at least the Cleveland Rd. one. Absolutely horrible.
Which is surprising to me.
For the TGI Firdays at Cedar Point, The Suggestion is try to eat early like arround 3 or 4, 6:30pm in the afternoon, then you can avoid the long waits.
To get the Firdays that is part of the hotel breakers, go to where Maxair and Wicked Twister is at, go throught that exit, and make sure you get you hand stamped, so you can get back into the Park
then turn left after you go throught the entrance/exit, just follow the path way down to the Firdays.
