Test/Trial seats

How do they measure up to the real seat? I know some amusement parks the test seat isn't really a true depiction of the actual restraint system. ie, you fit the test seat fine, but then get on the ride and it is smaller or requires more clicks etc.... So I am wondering how CP test/trial seats measure up :)

It's hit or miss. I've seen people fit the test seat and not the real seat, and vice versa. I've also seen people kicked off one train but ride later in a different seat/train.

They should put a whole cart out there. Likeone that is not used, or broken underneath. So you can tell if legs fit, CONFORTABLE, ABLE TO FIT AT ALL, ETC.

Like vwhoward said "it's hit or miss" with seatbelts. This is very true especially this year. i've noticed this on Millennium, and Dragster, because of new seatbelts.

These new seatbelts seem to run a little bit smaller than the normal seatbelts. So in return each seat has a different fit, but only my a small margin.

But also remember that even without the new seatbelts, that some seats and certain trains will have seats with different sizes and fit .Trust me i've notice and experienced this, especially with Millennium and Dragster.

I forgot to add because of new seatbelts and different sizes of belts on the seats, that the test seat is NOT a 100% that you will get on.

I did the test seat and I was allowed to continue on because I could get the two ends to touch. When I got on the yellow train the ride op was no help, so I had to do the walk of shame. Instead of leaving I snuck back in through the front seat line and I got on the blue train no prob. I am 6' I weighed 233 lbs and I have a 43" waist.
