Sounds like the red train will be the last put together. It takes time to get the trains from many peices to a whole train. It might be a 2 train operation on opening day again this year. No biggie, It doesn't hurt the capacity too badly and the line shouldn't be very long especilly with TTD on the other side of the park.
MF's 3rd birthday is coming up pretty quick. :)
:edit: I can believe I pasted the same thing 4 times and didn't even realize it.

It's not about who makes them, it's about redundant safety. Complexity has more part to fail, so why do they keep engineering them to be more and more complicated? That easy to answer, first of all it provides more safely. Secondly, some things aren't possible using simple circuits. Multiple blocks, quicker station movements, consistent train placement in the station in an exact position, and other very useful things.
Engineers and mechanics pay the price for demand for more sophisticated designs.
Added note: There are many reasons that us ride hosts can't reveal any mechanical issues to guests. The media is always looking for things to exploit. A bad choice of wording can mean something totally different from what is intended. The media is pretty much trained to exploit whatever they can, and ride hosts don't have the discipline to make decisions dealing with them.
