TechTV Shows The Tech Of Roller Coasters

I submitted this as a 'Buzz News item, but just in case you don't visit there, TechTV will be showing "The Tech Of: Roller Coasters" tomorrow (Wednesday, May 1) at 9:30pm EST.

The website says it will show coasters from Cedar Point, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Steel Dragon in Nagashima Spaland. More importantly, however, Millennium Force and Wicked Twister appear to be the two Cedar Point coasters to be on the show.

The Tech Of: Roller Coasters website is http://www.techtv.com/thetechof/story/0,24330,3375112,00.html

Jeff, you'd probably be pleased to know that CoasterBuzz was listed as one of their web resources Look near the bottom of the page.

Thanks for the notification. I would have missed it if you hadn't posted.

TechTV rocks!

Only if they added closed captioning, oh well.

Just got done watching it! I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time! Definitely what I needed to settle my coaster anxiety. It'll be on again in a couple hours for those of you who missed it! However, they say nothing about SFMM or the Steel Dragon. The whole thing is basically about CP but they do show Batman The Ride a couple times.

Very good show, although should be renamed.... The Tech Of: Cedar Point :)

The show was mostly rehashed from one of the old Discovery Channel shows so it was disappointing in that regard. I was surprised it was 100% CP though. I don't think I saw any other parks represented. I was happy though - I just watched the footage of all my favorites! :)

The only thing that bothered me was:

"The Millennium Force"
"The Magnum XL-200"
"The Mean Streak"

Bah.... drop the "the".. please... you sound ignorant. Other than that, great show. ;)

CABEWNCP: I was thinking the exact same thing :)

What CP coaster wasn't showed, except for DT?

If ya can stay up, there's a replay in about 2 hours from the time I post this. (12:30am EST). If you miss that, it's TechTV, theres a 100% chance that they'll show it again.

Edit: Click the link in the very top first post. Look around on the page for showtimes.

DT was showed, it just wasn't talked about. It's the middle child of the CP coaster family
