Taping the Summer Spectacular

Is it illegal to video tape the spectacular and keep it on a computer for the enjoyment of ones self?

Dippin Dots: aren't they Great!!!

As long as you don't sell it to others, I don't see why not.

Turkeys, the only animal smarter than man

I have a couple of them taped from a few years ago. im pretty sure they wont care unless you sell them like raptor said.

Would somebody have the video of this past year on tape? And if you don't, do you know if the music at the begining and the end are the same every year (I'm not talking about the first and last songs but the introduction and conlusion music when a voice says "welcome to the CP summer spectacular..." and then "thank you for attending tonight's summer spectacular...")

About the right to tape it, I don't think you have the right to do it; it would be like filming a movie in the cinema but as long as you don't make profit with it, the most important thing for Cedar Point is that you talk about it, maybe show it to some people who might then want to go to Cedar Point. It's all about publicity !

Have a great night, drive safely, and come back soon to enjoy more excitement at Cedar Point...

Anytime you reproduce something with a copyright without the owners permission, you are breaking the law. Homevideo, home use, it doesn't matter. However, most companys won't sue someone over a homevideo. As long as it remains a homevideo, no websites, no DVDs, I wouldn't worry about it.
