Switching from Sandcastle Suites to another CP Resort Hotel

I had booked a room at the Sandcastle Suites for beginning of June 2017. I have come to find after booking that the conditions at Sandcastle are not the greatest. The room is already booked. Would Cedar Point allow me to switch to a different Cedar Point resort property?
