Maybe they put the webcam there so that it could be easily repositioned to be a construction webcam for the new boardwalk?

here is some new info, went to visit webcam just now and got this message - The WebCam is Currently off-line for maintenance or technical reasons. wonder if its improvements or just broke?!?!

Yeah, it's funny because when it first came out we were all thinking that it is really cool but now we have come up with about 10 things that would make it better... It took me a while to realize that that line was MF's hill. I was sitting there thinking... what the heck is that thing? I really want to see it so that the Force is close by and at a cool angle to see the lights.
