How crowded is the park on Sundays?
We're planning to go for our final trip of the year this Sunday. We're not interested in any of the haunts - just the rides. I've always heard that Sunday is the least crowded day of Halloweekends. Will it be mostly walk-ons for most rides other than the Big 3?
Or will it be more like a busy summer Sunday with lineups at most rides?
Thanks
It shouldn't be too bad. Probably not a line for the big 3, avalanche run, paddle wheel excursions, and the frontier carousel.
I certainly hope the park police won't be conducting lineups at most of the rides.
The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.
The lines for the haunted houses should be short. Last Sunday we waited about 10 minutes for each of the 3 houses at the front of the park. It started out as a rainy day, so the waits may be a bit longer this Sunday if the weather is clear.
Lines for the rides should be relatively short. Coasters like Dragster, Millenium and Maverick will have longer lines as always. Even those will be manageable.
Thanks - we're planning on driving in for the weekend - but I think I will steer clear of CP on Saturday and do stuff in Port Huron/Cleveland, etc.
This helps me figure out what we can do and if the day is long enough without adding Saturday.

I see you have the time machine working.

What about the crowds on Sunday the 30th (closing day)
I wont be able to get to the park till about 2:00 pm because I work in the morning and then it takes a little over an hour to get there. I dont care about the lines for the haunts, just the rides. I'll be hitting all the hauses the previous Friday. I want to go Sunday to get some last rides in before the 6 months of closing :/
Im just curious because if the lines will be long, it wouldn't be worth the trip up there again since im already going that Friday.
