Sunday May 19th, National City Bank Day.

Just a heads up, crowds may be a little heavier than normal that day. Not just the little branches can attend, but the whole network which employees a lot of people in the Cleveland area. I am still going! :)

What the @#$% !!!! Of all the days that I could be going in MAY, this is the day I chose about a a month ago!! It better not be that busy

Just as an FYI, there was no limit on how many tickets employees could order ($19.50). Last year the co. picnic was at Six Flags on Father's Day. It was PACKED. I didn't know if it was because of the co. picnic or if Father's Day is always busy there. Of course, it was also a warmer time of year, too.

Not sure if I'll go on Sunday or not...

Packed at Six Flags doesn't mean packed at Cedar Point. There are company events at Cedar Point all summer. I can't imagine Sunday being unusually crowded.

If park employees are getting a parking ban on Sunday, then you should worry. :)

That's a real good point Gemini. Parking ban days are when CP expect there to be BIG crowds and to have potential problems parking all the cars. Unfortunately, last year, there were several parking bans (Saturdays in July and August, 4th of July, etc) and I don't think the lot was filled to capacity once last year while I was there. Also a good point about Six Flags being packed does not mean CP will be packed even if the same number of people show up. CP's midways are much wider, they have bigger queues, and in general much higher ride capacity.

Now I have at least some hope in it not being busy! Sunday is the day I'm coming down to go and it better not be packed.
