My girlfriend and I will be making our second trip out to the Point next Sunday (my 9th trip of the summer). Just curious if anyone is going to be at the park that day. We wouldn't mind meeting up with some people for a few rides.

Hopefully the crowds won't be too out of hand.

I'll be there Sunday and Monday the 13th. Dont forget about Magnum Joe Cool ERT Sunday night.

AHH! I forgot about Magnum Joe Cool ERT!... My girlfriend doesn't have a season pass... let alone ERT!... So sad... I may have to miss it.

I think I'll have to skip the ERT. That would make for a late night with work on Monday. I'll be there for the day though.

Sorry all, August 12th is one of only 2 days that Strickers Grove is open to the public.

Anyone planning on making a trip to Cinci that day?

As a matter of luck, I have the 13th off. I'm considering coming down for the ERT on the 12th.

Well, I am about to leave for the park. Hope to see some of you tonight.

It was crazy busy yesterday. I waited over an hour for TTD (yes, I'm crazy); all the ques were completly full. Maverick was at least a 2-2 1/2 wait. (I wasn't THAT crazy) I took my mom (boys didn't want to go ~sigh~) & we saw Molly & Maverick & Rock-n-Country. Both were very good, with Molly & Maverick being just a little better. (Well...maybe I feel that way just because "Maverick" came over & said I was "lovlier than a lotus blossom" ;))

Weather was great though. Hope you guys have a great day!

Sorry I missed you and Kelly today Josh. I was there til about 4pm, and I was just too hot and tired, and decided to call it a day. I'll be back next weekend.

P.S. Mark: one of your North Canton cops pulled me over at the end of Everhard last night. 2 hours of driving, & I get pulled over 2 minutes from home! He was a nice officer though. I think he was checking if I was drunk since it was 1:30AM, all those bars are up the road, & I apparently swayed, "just a bit". (I was tired). I told him where I was coming from & he said he had just ridden TTD last week! Got a warning to use my signal to turn even if the roads are deserted :)

I hate when a cop uses the excuse "You were swerving". If they ask how much you had to drink, just tell them you forgot so you blow a 0.00 on their breathalizer and make them look like a jerk.

Sorry about that Randi. I'm surprised I haven't encountered them, since I'm coming home from CP around that time quite often.

Wow... what a great day yesterday! The real purpose of my visit was to propose to my girlfriend at the park, and it went perfect. I will write a full TR tonight, but heres 2 pictures to hold you over.

As far as the park goes, it was a great day, hot, but not terribly busy, but alot of mechanical downtime. Like I said, I will talk about all of it in my TR.

Oh, and as far as Magnum ERT went... 12 rides (no getting off the train) in one hour... 1 was trimless... delicious.
