Sunday 26th crowd ?

How was the crowd(size)yesterday,Sunday the 26th ?

It started out really slow, got quite busy for a Sunday in the afternoon.

Not bad wait times for rides, as people were getting in line for haunts.

very enjoyable, with an awesome weather weekend.

Saturday was insanely busy.

My family went on Saturday the 25th and had to park on the grass and only got 5 rides in all day. Millennium was pulling a 3 1/2 hour wait at one point. They still had fun but I didn't know they were going. I would have told them to stay the hell out the park on any sunny Saturday in late October.

I heard on Saturday Millennium Force had a 4 hour wait.

I asked if anyone knew about Sunday,yet 2 of the 3 responses were for Saturday.

I thought it was crowded considering how cold the morning was, plus Saturday was the ideal weather for the weekend so I figured most would go on Sat and Sunday would be empty. On Sunday the parking lot was pretty crowded and good crowds in the midway. Around 4 we headed toward the back of the park on the cable cars and had about a 10 minute wait (at this point, usually people are headed out of the park, not toward it). We also waited 15 min for the Gemini and friends only waited about a half hour for Gatekeeper. I didn't expect the crowds but it ended up turning into a fairly decent weather day and we all want to get one more day in before it closes for the season :(

We were there all day Sunday....was fantastic weather for a late October visit. Had a great time.

FYI...I did represent for Po!ntBuzz, I wore my winter chill out shirt. :-)

We are busy all closing weekend, so we'll be waiting for May 2015.

Didn't go into the park on Sunday. Checked out of the hotel and went home. Friday was a good day and did all the major stuff Friday. Saturday was very busy. We didn't ride anything between 1:30 and 8. Hung in the hotel room and ate. Because of the lines. Had a good time though. TTD was down both friday and saturday. Only seen it operating for brief periods each day.

If you went to CP in 2000-2002 you got a real good idea of what a 4 hour wait on Millenium looks like. Back then you had to get a handstamp to get in the line. You'd get your handstamped and it was good in about 4 hours. I walked by Millenium at about 8 on Saturday and the line wasn't out of the que and down the midway past the saloon. But then again who knows how bad fastlane effects the regular line. The fastlane crowd could have been marathoning the ride. Me personally won't wait in long lines to do something I can just do some other time. So if that means I'm riding the antique cars, Mine Ride, and SkyHawk than that's what I'm doing.

Saturday was bad for more than just rides. You could barely walk thru the outdoor haunts without there being a bottleneck of people, which defeated the point of the haunts because the screamsters couldn't move around either. There were lines to get in line for everything. 15-20 minutes for restrooms (at least for the women), big lines for food everywhere, etc. The haunted houses had lines of 1.5-2 hours each. Days like that made me super glad I have a pass every year because if that had been my one day to go, I wouldn't have been a happy camper.
