We spent one night at Breakers and had a pretty pleasant time, considering the circumstances. Many of the usual beach activities are happening including live music at the Sand Bar, beach games, morning yoga and even some of the glow party activities from Cedar Point Nights. The Boardwalk Cruisers were available for rides up and down the boardwalk.
Our Saturday dinner at BackBeatQue was nice as well. Even though you receive one pass through the line each plate was loaded with food including two sides, corn bread and pecan pie for dessert. The dueling pianos were great too. They call themselves the Uprights and it sounds like they will be playing at the park throughout the summer.
Obviously it was surreal to be at the resorts and not hear any noise from the park but we were impressed at how close to "normal" things felt at the hotel. Major props to the staff at Breakers, the food venues and in Live Entertainment for putting on a good show in such unusual times!
"Thank the Phoenicians!"
