I'm sure Walt already has it planned, but I thought I'd ask. Are you going to do anything special for DD's final days of operation at the point. I know there's a chance of it staying, but you never know.

Hey, I don't know that I'm going to the park with a camera this weekend. Actually, I'm not sure yet if I'm going at all. I have good intentions, but we'll see.

I assume its something simple. I thought it was just a problem with my Laptop, but it does it on the Desktop too.

Hmm ... how odd. I see it's Firexox, which is what I have - but not with that problem. Anything else you can tell me about how your setup might be different?

I don't think anything about it was special, though. It did the same thing on the laptop as well.

Yes a Halloweekends Desktop would be great. It is my favorite part of the operating season. :)

I've got a suggestion...

How about seasonal "skins" for the site? I'm not saying that the site doesn't look great - it does - but it would be cool to have a slightly different look, either choosable by the user, or variable by season. For instance, there could be skins for opening day, spring, summer, 4th of July, fall, Halloweekends, etc.

Just an idea. Keep up the great work!

I've got a site redesign in my head. Just need to find time to make it real (HA!). After more than a year of PointBuzz, we've seen what works and what doesn't work. I know we need to make changes.

But, yes, I like the idea of skins. Who knows where we might go in the future?

And they're pretty easy to do in ASP.NET v2...

My own priority is to get a new CoasterBuzz. It's been the same now for more than three years!

A simple modern look would make CoasterBuzz look great.

Yeah, CB is a little "busy" looking, IMO. And I say this with all due respect, of course, as I applaud your talents in web-creation.

The white-on-black design helps readability, but creates a non-fluid feel to site as a whole. Again, both sites are great, I'm just trying to offer some constructive user-feedback.

You could get alot more users to your site if you put up some Cedar Point buddy icons to download like thepointol and expieriencethepoint.

Oh yeah, because that's what people interested in Cedar Point are flocking to the Web for, buddy icons. Real content about the park and its attractions couldn't possibly have anything to do with it.
