You mean to tell me that the inverting ride "became inverted?"

I struggle with the claim that after they fixed the issue, the ride then continued to finish its cycle. Could that really be true? It seems like there has to be some override that allows them to cancel the cycle and lower the arms.

It isn't so much that the cycle continued, it's that it will swing a bit until it comes to rest. If Ocean Motion got stuck at one end (not possible, obvs), and you let it go, it's not going to stop at the bottom.

I'd hate to be stuck like that, my head hurts just thinking of it. I rode the ship ride, Southern Star, at Carowinds that does a complete cycle and it holds you briefly upside down and I got a headache.


That there Clark is an RV.....

The older I get... and the more of these things that I read.... shiver.
