strata-coaster or strato-coaster

This is stupid, but the syntax discrepancy is bugging me. Cp has their site referring to Dragster as a strata-coaster. Shouldn't it be stratO-coaster, not stratA-coaster?; Strato, referring to stratosphere; strata, referring to something found between rock layers on an archeological dig. I know noone has had any trouble deciphering the meaning of the term as it is, but I think strato-coaster would be more accurate. Ok begin rolling your eyes at me now.

Does it really matter.

Finally an annoucment.

Stratacoaster flows off of the tongue easier than StratOcoaster.

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of # 16, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

Actually, Jose, the strata are the layers of rock. And the tower is kinda layered too, so we can give them the benefit of the doubt.

Strata - One of a number of layers, levels, or divisions in an organized system

I don't care for Strats...I'm a Les Paul man.
He who builds it, names it.

Go build a 500 footer in your back yard and give it whatever prefix you wish. Until then, it's Strata... deal

Say Strato ten times fast.

Now say Strata ten times fast. . .which one was easier and more fun? Strata is easier to say and can be said faster. The common person will think of the Stratosphere. I knew what CP meant by the term, and it sounds better.

Oh yeah, if there's bugs on your shirt, you had a good ride.

Thank you Jeff for your work to make and run this site!

Speaking of spelling errors, you'd think Cedar Point would have spelled the last name of the Vice President and General Manager correctly on the interview video page.
