Storing Platinum Pass on phone

Can anyone tell me how to store my platinum pass on my phone using the cedar point app. I have had the same pass for 4 yrs. Just renew online. Phone is a Galaxy 4.

If you renewed your pass, you had to choose to either use your existing pass or get a new one.

If you're using your existing pass, you had to then choose to either use your existing picture, upload a new one, or take a new one when you first visit the park.

I don't think that's what they are asking.

The app hasn't been updated quite yet to support this. In the meantime, you can take a photo of it.

DJ, that's not what they're asking. The new app is going to allow pass holders to store their card on their phone. So instead of having your card in your wallet, you can leave it at home and just have the employees working the gate scan your phone. This was told to us at Winter Chill Out by Jason and Tony.

But then, aren't you going to have your phone with you on the rides, which isn't a great idea.

You could store it in a locker. Or buy pants/shorts with pockets. Or get a fanny pack.

I guess I feel it's safer to leave it in the motor home and check it when we're back at Lighthouse Point.

I think Cedar Point just figured it would be more convenient since a lot of people already have their phones when they're inside the park for communication purposes. That's my guess.

Then you can't meet Tony at a Tweetup if you don't have your phone with you....

I'm wondering if multiple passes can be stored on the same app (i.e. Kid's passes). That would be awfully convenient.

Yes, multiple passes are available.

Just download the Knotts Berry Farm app.
It already has the season pass section.

I believe King's Island's does as well. I'm curious and hopeful that you can store a single pass on multiple phones. Curious about the same for a Funpix card as well.
