Still running good?

Hey, im going to the Point in about 2 weeks and I was just wondering if MF was running good. I was there at the end of last season and noticed that it was rougher then usual. Is it still running this way or is it back to the way it was?

Hey.... Whatever

I rode it twice yesterday morning, Cody. I would describe it as nice & smooth. :)

Have fun,

I rode it for my very first time yesterday, once in the yellow train and once in the red train, both times in front seat. It was a very smooth ride in my opinion. And if you get the chance to take the red train then take the red train, because I noticed that it was much faster than the yellow train. Why? I have no clue. But the red train is noticeably faster, I could not believe the difference in speed. My second ride was deffinately the best one.
What time did you ride in the yellow train, and what time did you ride in the red train? Depending on the type of day, believe it or not, the train will get faster/slower.

I rode in the yellow train around 2:00 and then I rode in the red train at around 7:15. But i thought that the difference in speed was really amazing. I mean, after my first ride in the yellow train, I didnt think that Millennium Force could get any faster : P . But at the bottom of the drop in the red train I was like holy *** it just got faster. : P
I don't know if it was because it was dark or if it was the red train, but it seemed as if I was going incredibly fast the second time I rode Millenium Force today. But I thought it was very smooth, even at the end of the season last year. It goes by to fast for me to notice t hose kinds of things I guess, but all the rides seem smoother this year, even Mean Streak and Mantis.

Life has it's ups and downs, might as well make it on a coaster!

By the end of the day, MF is "warmed up" so to speak, so that's why it runs faster. :)

Well, in that case, I can't wait to ride it late at night!
When I was there back in May the Red train kept making clackity noises as it crested the lift hill. They would check it out for a second or two and send it up again. That happened like 3 times and finally it made those noises all the way up the hill. I knew that it was merely the safety anti-rollback arm/clip, but still rather erie when you are not used to hearing it on that particular ride. It sounded just like Magnum on its lift hill the last time.

Needless to say they took the red train off for awhile... bummer was they were only running two cars to begin with.

I've always thought the yellow train was the fastest train. Even at the same parts of the day. I heard it had something to do with its wheels or something. I heard they were newer or something but that was back last year and there is probally a whole new set of wheels on the trains now.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! Are your ready for some speed? We've got 120 miles per hour! Are you ready to get vertical? We've got 420 feet. Are you ready for the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in the world?! ARE YOU READY FOR TOP THRILL DRAGSTER?!?

Different trains run better or worse each year. It probably depends how they are put back together in the off season, mostly in the bearings. This year I would say either Red or Yellow are the faster of the trains.

I rode it last Sunday in Red at night in seat 9-1 and holy crap! There was absolutely no wind and it was warm, so it was flying. The return hill from the island had some unbelievable air, in that it would yank you over so hard I came down and slapped the front of the car :). I almost though I was on S:RoS @ SFNE for a second ;).
