So here's something you don't hear everyday. Stephanie, my fiancee, actually lost a contact lens yesterday on Millennium Force! Who thought that would happen!? We pulled in to the brake run, riding in the front seat, and she told me. I thought she was pulling my chain, but she actually lost one.
Does anyone doubt the awesome forces at work now?

How many times have I recommended eye protection for riders of such a coaster?

Jeff - I think it's your duty as a good fiancee to get back out there and ride MF again and again until you FIND that contact lens!

Oh, this first hill on MF isn't so baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddd.......

Not good It appears I will have my eyes closed on the first drop as I wear contacts also. One almost came out on BKF. We will just wait and see.

My brother and I both wear contacts and we had no problems on the ride (except of course for the tears on the side of my face after I got off :))

It wasn't until we did front seat, which really gets the tears flowing. Other seats aren't as bad.

I reccommend not rubbing your eyes if you have contacts. :-) Joe has contacts, RPerz?

I could feel my contact falling out Sunday when we rode Raptor in the front seat. It was almost gone around the last helix, and I don't think they braked us at all on the run, and it was pure speed. I blinked, and I think I just saved it. I was worrying about it the whole day, too, because about halfway there on the turnpike it came out, and dried up since my fluid was in the trunk.

How does a glasses strap (if anyone tried one) work vs 92 MPH winds (well, it probably isn't nearly that high, but if it can pull out a contact...)

I was practicing keeping my eyes open while riding in a car. Going 65mph, I stick my head out of the window and try to keep my eyes open.

If you make that face while your ride MF, it will freeze that way! :) Hmm, maybe I'll make that my new signature when I get sick of this one.

I do believe I mentioned to contact lens wearers they needed to be careful! When I rode it last Sunday I thought my contacts were going to fly right out of my face so I had to keep my eyes closed. Next time I went-smart cookie-sunglasses with the strap thing-
kept eyes open the entire 38 laps
(if I would have lost one of my contacts there would be no way for me to drive home!)

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??
