Status of Dominic's (Question)

My family and I are planning a weekend trip at Cedar Point and were planning on eating at Dominic's in the Breakers. Having never eaten there before we were anxious to try it out. However, my question was regarding whether or not it is a buffet restaurant. Early in the year, this website listed along with other park imporvements that Dominic's would become a buffet restaurant. The Cedar Point Website, on the other hand, makes no mention of a buffet. Has anyone been there this year to confirm whether it is indeed a buffet or just a sit-down Italian restaurant? Also, since I've never been there, how's the food?

Hello. When I was at the Breakers in late June it was indeed a buffet restaurant...mostly Italian food of course. I assume it hasn't changed since then.

Boooo. This is the one that isn't open that many hours anyway right? I guess they don't want more than one restaurant like Friday's in the same vicinity? Does this mean all the fat people stay at Breaker's now?

The food at Domenic's is not all that great. It is mostly Pasta and always over cooked or dehydrated.

It is rather unfortunate that the food service department at Cedar Point can't maintain at least two sit-down restaurants in their flagship hotel. I just don't understand why they would turn it into a buffet when they have the Coffee Shop next door selling cafeteria style food. Also, doesn't Macaroni's sell italian buffet as well?
