Here's a dumb question just for fun to see if anyone else feels the same way about this as I do: I love the station music for millennium and Wicked Twister and Top Thrill. ( Wickeds my favorite music, TTD next, Millenium last but not least). My actual question is how come only some of the coasters have theme songs and not others? I really would love for Gatekeeper, Valravn, Maverick, and Raptor to have theme songs/station music as well, why don't they?
The coasters with music all came one after another so I’m just going out on a limb and saying it was a management phase at the time. But I agree that I think it definitely adds something to the experience. However, if I operated Dragster I would quickly go insane.
2018- Raptor
CP Top 5- 1)MF 2) Maverick 3) Gatekeeper 4) Top Thrill Dragster 5) Raptor
CoasterKyle1121, Maybe you solved this mystery.

These names are something elseYou made that one up. Nobody does that.
But I agree, these feminin names suck. Though I bet these could be largely avoided if CF practiced Syllable Economics.
In my defense, the post that I was referring to is no longer there or has been edited. So now my comment just looks random :)
I like the Millenium Force music so much I had it as my ringtone for a while.
Dragster is unique in that, far as I know, it's the only coaster in the park with actual licensed music as its station theme. Wonder how much getting the rights to use 'Ready to Go' set them back... it'd be neat if they could do that for other rides as well. (As a result, I can't hear 'Ready to Go' on the radio without daydreaming about CP. XP )
Proud 5th Liner and CP fan since 1986.
Random thought, but if I were to choose station music for SV, it would have to be "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC. A few reasons why:
1. It came out in 1990 and hit peak radio popularity in 1991. Mean Streak anyone?
2. I may be the only one that thinks this, but the guitar riffs seem to have an almost "old west" vibe, which fits with the theme of the ride.
3. There are a lot of hype lyrics that make you feel like you're about to go on a wild roller coaster ride.
4. It's an awesome song.
