Failure to follow posted safety rules, and audio announcements, may result in serious accident or injury(cable lift sound). If you do not understand these instructions, or need clarification, please contact a ride host. Thank you for riding Millennium Force, and enjoy the rest of your day, at America's Roller Coast...CEDAR POINT.":-d
The cable lift sound is very dependant on if we are hitting interval or not...there were many times this summer that the station grew very silent before you heard the clear and the catch car engage. Also to answer the question about the old spiel. There is no way for the ride hosts to change or control the spiel in anyway. It is triggered by the proxy system and not by the operator in the controls.

Josh, that wasnt the "catch car engage" sound. It is when the cable lift is returning to the station from the other train. It's not when the ride op says clear, if thats the sound you are talking about.
thank you.....and enjoy your record breaking ride on Millennium Force!
Ah, now I know what you are talking about...that got changed too from previous years. The program was changed and that catch car slowed down quite a bit as it was coming back into the station...Thanks for the clarification!

Sort of on the topic...I thought that the speakers in the MF station were quite muffled...the spiel was fine, but the operator in the booth is quite garbled...wonder if they could get that fixed.
