Station

Hey guys! Does anyone know what the inside of the station will look like?? Is their a certain way each Impulse station looks, or are their differences that can be made for looks in each park?? Thanks a lot!

technicaly, I think those are LSMs, not LIMs... maybe there is a difference.

Well, at least the names are different... Linear Synchronis Motors, and Linear Induction Motors... maybe someone smarter than I am can figure it out just by looking at the names. BUT, the MINs on California Screamin are not enclosed and built over a lake... so who knows. And it doesn't rain in California as much as it probably does in Ohio, so they'll probably need protection. Oh, I don't know!

Oh and there's a new update! Says that construction will be done by February/March... I guess we get to watch WebCam images of it testing!!! Hooorraaaayyy!!

When California Screamin' launches a wave hits the train as well as the track making it wet. Most LIM's are water cooled anyway, so I'm sure moisture wouldn't be an issue. HOWEVER, rides like California Screamin and Speed the Ride are open year around, so maybe thats a difference from Ohio where it the climate is different.

Nothing as long as they have sufficient cooling time or ventilation to cool in the hottest potential weather.
