Starlight for Coastermania

Sorry but I searched for an answer to this and couldn't find anything. I have a friend who wants to come and meet us for Coastermania but he has to work that day and can't make it to Cedar Point until about 6 or 7 in the evening. I know this seems pointless for him but we are planning on spending the day after at the park as well. Anyway, my question is can he buy a Starlight ticket on Friday evening and still get a Coastermania ticket or can you only get those in the morning?

I think they stop selling the CoasterMania ERT tickets around 5. Not too sure though.

Tickets can be purchased at the Group Sales Booth from 5am to 5pm. My suggestion would be to buy the ticket, get the badge for ERT and meet him when he gets to the park. Then you can give it to him so that he can join in for the eveing ERT.
