Starlight Admission Discounts

I'm visiting Cedar Point next week with 4 people, and we are getting a package that includes 2 starlight tickets and 2 general admission tickets.

The two who will not be using the tickets included in the package would like to join us in the park sometime during our visit, but will not ride anything.

I searched CP's site, but the best deal I could find for them would be to join us for Starlight. Even with the reduced price, it would still be $60, which is pretty steep for a couple who just wants to walk around the park for a few hours.

Does anyone know if the park offers any discounts on their Starlight tickets?

There is some discounts in the Getaway Guide this year, but don't know how much of a savings off hand. I think it was save $5 on upto 5 tickets.

If your staying on property buy the starlights through the hotel, usually they are discounted.

Quoted from Cedar Point web site.

Save on one-day tickets and save even more on the Ride & Slide ticket. Plus, save 50% on Starlight tickets - just $14.99 each!

In previous years you've been able to upgrade the evening tickets at the hotel.

^^Awesome! Where did you find that? (I didn't see it anywhere on the CP site...)

And Jeff, what do you mean by, "upgrade the evening tickets"?

It is about 1/3 down on the page, on the right side.

I thought back in the day you could pay extra to change those starlight tickets into full-day tickets. Perhaps I'm mistaken. I haven't stayed on property for a couple of years, let alone buy a ticket package.

I think Jeff is right. I believe you just pay the difference (or something close) to make the starlight into a funday ticket.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
