Starbucks/Donut Time

I have a question about the Starbucks now in the old Donut Time location. Donut Time used to sell these little cinnamon-sugar donuts were really good. My sister-in-law absolutely loved them, and would always get them when we came to the park. Does anyone know if they still sell them, or do they now sell more standard Starbucks-fare food?

It's a full-fledged Starbucks now, It's no longer Donut Time, so Starbucks food.

I can't imagine there aren't still doughnuts being made somewhere. My understanding is that they were distributed all over the park and used in catering. I could be wrong.

Donut Time closed? For a stupid Starbucks? Wow.

No, no, no. You've got that wrong. Our Starbucks is a prodigy. It's going to be a rocket scientist on ISS by the time most kids enter elementary school. :)

I guess the follow up question is whether anyone knows if anywhere else in the park sells the little, delicious cinnamon donuts that used to sell in Donut Time :)

I used to go to donut time for the cinnamon rolls and muffins everytime I was at the park. looked in the starbucks and saw the crap they sell there, starbucks is off limits NOW.

I'm not saying that the starbucks 'pastry' is crap just not as good and filling as donut time was.

Just a head's up about Starbucks @ CP; they offer everything any other Starbucks does but their pricing structure is NOT the same. For example if you order a drink that normally comes with a syrup, they charge extra per pump. My wife worked at a Starbucks and still frequents them (more than our bank account should allow, really) here in western NY. She went to the one at CP and her iced coffee that costs her ~$3 (still ridiculous to me) anywhere else was gonna cost her almost $7, mostly due to the $0.80/pump up charge for 3 pumps of classic syrup that is part of the drink anyway. She wrote to Starbucks about it and they said they do not control pricing in amusement parks, stadiums, or airports. So not only do they jack the prices of everything, they charge extra for "add-ons" that are part of the drink. I guess another example would be paying extra per tire when you buy a new car.

ROUNDABOUND.

I'm sad that Donut Time is gone and replaced with a Starbucks which you can find anywhere elsewhere. There's nothing exciting or special about Starbucks as far as I'm concerned. Lol!

My neighbor is in management at Disney and he said the Starbucks on Main Street (WDW) is the highest grossing Starbucks in the world. They make more money and serve more coffee than any other store. As a passholder I can attest that their pricing structure is very similar to that of Starbucks outside of the park. I would say this has something to do with Cedar Point's change at Donut Time. I bet it is a huge cash cow already.

Yeah, that location on Main Street is always a zoo, and I'm sure the pricing ups the margin significantly as well. Where else do you have literally 50,000 people passing you on foot every single day? It's impossible to visit Magic Kingdom without walking passed it, twice.

That said, at least it blends in at MK. I think it's a little tacky looking at CP, the way that Tokyo is tacky with its commercial signage.
