S&S wants VertiGo reinstalled

I might even ride a Sky Sling. It was that open seating on Vertigo that terrified my, being scared of heights.

With the Sky Sling, Cedar Point could get away with saying it is a different ride. It just looks like the former Vertigo.... And with about 95% of the GP really not knowing Vertigo existed or what happened to it, I think it would prove to be a good move. I'm not exactly sure how PR works, but I'm sure if the media wanted to do some distorting, the PR department could refuse media access for public interest and not to scare the other 95%.

Oh wow! I'm really excited that there is even a possiblility of Vertigo returning. I'm constantly trying to explain to folks just how cool that ride was. I've said it many times here and I'll say it again, that ride scared the crap out of me, and I loved every one of my 21 launches!

Why are you excited? Aren't you playing along? It's not going to happen. There is no possibility.

Vertigo is resting in the employee parking lot to the right of the dorms before the causeway. You can see it right next to the walkway over the road.

I would ride it if they were to rebuild it. That was one of my favorite rides at Cedar Point.

What the HECK was VertiGo?? Does anyone have a pic of this thing before and after it collapsed?? Thanks
