Splash Zone: Already a Waterpark in N. Ohio

It seems that the nearby Lorain County Metroparks already has a waterpark named Splash Zone in Oberlin, Ohio. Oops.

''I don't think we're copyrighted, but that's the name on our building,'' Martin said.

I hope Cedar Point doesn't reverse it on them and copyright it and force the Metroparks to change names.

I was surprised to see such a long article on that topic. It's not really newsworthy.

You think thats a slow news day? Either yesterday or the day before in the Sandusky Register there was a story about a Meat Thief on the bottom right hand corner of the front page.

Hi, My name is Puggy and I live in a tree.

Camp Snoopy 2000-2002
Mean Streak 2003

That supports my theory that the Lorain Morning Journal is crap and that "Germans love David Hasselhoff."

Seriously, isn't there something happening in our wonderful City of Lorain that people actually care about? The fact that neither the Cedar Point folks nor the Metroparks folks really cared should convince the readers of the Morning Journal to actually care? Piece of crap journalism if you ask me.

Still not as bad as the Elyria Chronicle Telegram that gave me an ad to run in the program of one of my high school drama productions that said "Speical (sic) Thanks to the Chronicle Telegram." (BTW- I ran the ad "as is" since that was the copy they gave me. Who was I to tell them *their* ad was wrong? ;) )
