Spitting!!!

While riding ocean motion on friday a kid spit into the air it it hit me on my pants. Me and a group of friends saw the exact kid who did it and when we got off the ride we wanted to speak our minds. As soon as I got close to him he ran the fastest I had ever seen toward the midway.( probably a good thing to) My question is has anyone ever spit on you during a ride or have anyone done somthing else like that.

I spit my gum out on the loop over the midway on corkscrew once. That was a LONG time ago though.

I still remember doing that because when I did it.. it looked like it was floating in the air. and then it nearly hit me when we came around the loop.

One time when I was going to Wicked Twister this one guy spit from the ferris wheel...it really P.O.ed me...at first I though it was bird crap.

Just recently (about 2 weeks ago) I was riding Magnum and I swore I felt something drip on me in the first tunnel. It was on and off rain all day so at first I thought it was just raining, and then we hit the third hill, and I felt a huge glob of some liquid hit my face right below my mouth. The on ride picture was me wiping it off my face. I'm still yet to know if that was spit, just a drop of water that was falling off from the roof of the tunnel, or bird $hit, but either way it was nasty......especially when you're going 72 mph.......

While my boys were riding the Wave Swinger last week, I caught someone's 'loogie' on my cheek as I watched from near the ride's exit. There were too many kids for me to identify a single culprit. It pissed me off at first, then I blew it off. Life's too short to let some snotty punk ruin my day at the Point. I wiped off my face, then it was off to White Water Landing for a rinse.

I caught a kid spitting onto people below when he was on Magnum, heading back to the station. When he and his friend got off the ride, we told a police, who had several other people come up to him to tell him the same thing. I saw the cop walking with the kids to the park exit, and I never really saw the kid again. ;)

To be honest, i only spit once, and that was off of the sky-ride. I had spit in my mouth, so i just spat it out. I doubt i hit anyone, but if i did, i'm sorry.

Opening day this season, we were about halfway down the drop on MF when some moron in front of my friend spit. It hit my friend and I on the face, my other friend behind me said he got some in the mouth, and the person sitting next to him got it in the eye. Also last season my friends and I were on the skyride, till some moron was trying to be funny for his girlfriend and spit on me as we passed him by.

In MF in 2000 a guy let a hand full of change fly out . No one was hit though.

Please don't let the actions of a few idiots taint your social preconception of people in my age grouping. It is annoying to us teenagers also.

Not at Cedar Point, but in line for "Flight of Fear" at King's Island I got hit in the head by some loose change. Someone must have thrown it, because we were not even close to the ride yet. I think it was my large head, an attractive target. : ) I also got pelted with watermelon bits from about the 25th floor of the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids, MI on 4th of July in 2000. Punks. The stupidest place to spit from at CP is the sky ride. A guy tried to do that to me not to long a go and I was thinking. I can walk as fast as those cars and their is only one way off of them.

I haven't been spit on, but someone threw a full bottle of Gushers fruit drink off the Hercules at Dorney that landed just three feet from me. Tried finding security to report it to, but there were none around. Went up onto the exit platform and watched the next three trains unload, but there were no obvious suspects. Not that I would have taken things into my own hands (yeah, I would have).

But here is something that has to be worse than that:

BOSTON - Cyndi Lauper has gone above and beyond what should be expected from a performer.

The Boston Herald reports Lauper was performing at a concert sponsored by a radio station WXKS when a bird relieved itself over her head.

It's bad enough that it hit Lauper. It's even worse knowing Lauper had her mouth open for a high note and the bird made a one-in-a-million shot.

Lauper delicately turned away from the crowd and wiped her tongue on her shirt - and finished the set.

Now thats dropping a note. I know very corny.

Spit doesn't have to be aimed at someone to be gross. For years, I was disgusted by people in line for Iron Dragon who just had to spit into the lagoon and see if fish would think it was food. (Sorry, it was really gross.) It always made me wonder if others got grossed out, too, because eventually the Iron Dragon line approaching the stairs was moved away from the fence closest to the lagoon (or maybe that was just so no one would lean over too far). Spitting is annoying, but on our ride it kind of comes back and (usually) hits the spitter in their face, but spitting your gum out is *so* not cool. Not only because it's gross, but because you're making people's jobs so much harder than it has to be. I'm not going to say anything about it other than the fact that if we see it we politely ask the person to pick up their gum... If not we had to either get a tissue from our control room or find something to get it up asap. If we don't it's forever engrained in our black mats never to be brought back ever...

The first day, the first ride at CP was Iron Dragon while standing in line, of corse. Some guys had to go over to the lagoon and spit in it. And yes I think the fish did eat it. And once again more spitting on our second ride which was Mantis.

wile i was on millenium force last year i got hit with someone's spit and my dad got hit with someone's gum on the chest

I've never been spit on, but someone threw a nickel at me from Mantis and gave me a welt on my neck. That almost ruined my day!
