Speed

The launch would have to be a lot faster than 100mph to get up to 400'. Xcelerator goes 85mph to get up 205' only. 100mph probably not even make it to 300'. How fast would you say #16 is going to go?

100 mph would easily make it to 300 feet. its all in the physics

How about this... It'll be between 400 and 450 feet tall and go between 110 and 120 mph? :)

Jeff has pretty much already hinted in other posts that it will go somewhere between 110-120 mph. So its not gonna be a whole lot faster than 100mph.

Still faster than any other coaster.......

Check your physics book friend... that's not the way gravity works. If Magnum goes 72 mph, a 400-foot ride will not go 144.

magnum goes 72 and is a 205 foot drop, mille goes 92 and is a 300 foot drop the speed is not proportional to the drop if it was mille would go 108mph so 110-120 could easily get us up a 400 foot hill
first off, ThePoint is talking about launch speed, not maximum velocity. To compare any coaster with a lift hill to ThePoint's question about the speed of a LAUNCHED coaster is just way off. Secondly, ThePoint, you are wrong either way. Jeff and Worked made correct points but for incorrect reasons.

Peace I'm Out

Sorry My Mistake!! I guess it could go 400'.
