Hi all, this is my first post and I was not sure where specifically this belongs so hopefully it is in the correct forum.
I am considering a potential trip to Cedar Point in May or June. I live in California.
What I am concerned about is the discussion I have been reading regarding the Millenium Force seatbelts. I am male, 6'4" and aprroximately 175 lbs (quite thin for my height.) Also, hopefully I am not too tall to ride Wicked Twister. I read the comment on there website that males over 6'2" may have difficulty fitting on certain rides.
I know it is probably impossible to give an exact answer, but hopefully people can offer input who are of similar size, or operators who have dealt with people of similar size.
Thanks in advance.
Chris
I am 6' and 190 lb's, I fit into the seat belts on MF pretty easily, their is about an inch or two when I fasten the belt. I also have plenty of room when I ride wicked twister or raptor. Since you weigh only 175 lb's, I doubt you will have trouble with MF. I have plenty of room on Wicked Twister so I doubt 4 inches would make that much of a difference. It acctually depends more on your bodys proportion not so much just your weight and height. If you have a long torso you might have trouble with the OTSR but I doubt it. I believe you will be fine.

When it comes down to the harnesses, it will be hit or miss. Your heights might cause you problems on Wicked Twister and Corkscrew, but you might also be perfectly fine on them.
Most lapbar rides, you can cross your ankles to fit. The exceptions are Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force because of their T bar. I doubt that they will give you problems.

Hi Chris,
I worked on Wicked Twister last season, you should be ok. I am about 6'2 and I have no problem test riding it in the morning. If your concerned a good rule is to swing your feet forwards and backwards once your harness is fastened and if you can touch let a ride operator know and they will release the harness for you and you can take your shoes off. It helps A LOT when you take your shoes off if your close or concerned about it.

One of the guys I ride with is 6'2" and about 230lbs and he is able to ride all rides including MF even with a bad knee. You will be just fine.
I am 6 ft and I cross my ankles like said above on corkscrew but I have no trouble with Wicked Twister or Raptor. I have no problem riding, another 4 inches won't hurt. You will fit just fine.
Yeah new year, and finally got my license, well back in august. Im in need of a trip to the park.
Although... It often depends whether that extra 4 inches is in your upper body or in your legs.

Thanks!! I really appreciate your responses guys.
I've ridden practically all of the coasters in Southern California including Deja Vu at Six Flags Magic Mountain (6'4" maximum height limit) so I have not had any problems yet.
Is there a maximum height limit on MaxAir. I do not recall reading about one, but I know there is a 75" max height limit on Riptide (floorless top spin) at Knotts Berry Farm. I assume they have similar restraints.
Thanks again. These forums have been helpful for trip planning.
Chris
None of the rides have a maximum height limit per se. There may, however, be certain requirements you will need to meet in terms lap bars, seatbelts, etc. For example, on Top Thrill Dragster, the seatback must support your head to be permitted to ride.

Hey Chris,
Do you play for the NBA?? j/k Anyway, I have a friend who is a shade taller than you are and he actually does have problems riding most of the rides. I think he is about 6'6". I know this in contray to what everyone else has said but on the other hand everyone is different. Most rides (the older ones being an exception) have test seats that you can try out before you ride. If you have difficulty with those than it might be possible that you will be uncomfortable while riding. It's really up to your own good judgement.
Long time no ... see? hear? no read?, oh whatever nice to see you around again MR. Scott.
