Space Spiral

Does the second story of the space spiral even used anymore because any time I have been to Cedar Point they were only operating the 1st Level

The second level hasn't been used in years. Was it last used in 1994, perhaps?

I rode on the second level several times last season. It's almost always open on very crowded days. Someone else can probably elaborate on how the decision to open the second level is made.

Hey, I heard a rumor that Millennium Force is sinking...

My guess is if they have enough staffing and enough people willing to wait for it to justify it.

You're correct. It's based on park attendance and if the crew is large for that area to cover the additional spots.

I rode Upperdeck on July 4, 2003, 2002, 2001. It's a fairly predictable day to ride upperdeck to me. ;)

Rob hit it right on the head, once we have the staffing to do it, its staffed for Saturdays, and Holidays. Its really a pain to run upper cabin because once we open it, the line for the ride uaually dies after like 3 cycles, unless its a REALLY BUSY day.

The wonderful memorys of working Space Spiral..hehe..fun times..gotta love the fireworks on the 4th of July..Even though I had to be at the GW with the large crowd of guest trying to get on it at the right time to see the fireworks. Running a 6,6 is awsome but a lot of work..We had a great crew that season 02'..Miss you all!
