souvenir cup question

Hi, I purchased a voucher online for a 2013 souvenir cup. I noticed that they said refills are free on the first visit. This may be a dumb question but how do they know its your first visit? Do you get a wristband, is the bottle marked, or do they go by the honor system?

They put a paper band on the bottom of the cup which contains a bar code. It gets scanned each time you refill.

Is the souvenir cup (if empty) one of the items they allow you to place in the Gatekeeper station boxes? I know bags are not permitted but I was wondering about the cup since it's too big for the lockers.

Yes cups can be placed in the bin, and they do not have to be empty. I'd try to place it against a side of the bin to be safe though

My sister purchased the green $1 refill souvenir cup at KI earlier this season. Anyone know if they will fill this cup up for free with water at the drink stands at KI?

I believe it is Ohio law that if you ask for a cup of water, they have to give it to you for free. At Cedar Point, if you walk up to a food booth and ask for a cup of water, they need to give it to you for free, and I know this isn't just a Cedar Point thing but I believe it is a State of Ohio thing. So yes, if you have a souvenir bottle and ask for some water, they should give it to your for free.

How can someone have 41 posts in less than 48 hours? Why would you want 41 posts in that period of time?

Can't speak for KI but at Cedar Point they will absolutely fill up your refil bottles with water. We've been doing that the last few years - we'll get a soft drink around lunchtime but most of the day I just want water, and they'll happily fill it with ice water.
