I was looking at Hotels close to Cedar Point and I was wondering, Has any body stayed at South Shore Inn? Is it nice? Worth the money?
Thanks
RIP MR.SCOTT The ONLY MAYOR OF LIGHTHOUSE
Just stay on point. There is no place in Sandusky that compares. Avoid the Tudor Inn. Can you say cockroaches?
If you mention PointBuzz, you can save 10% at South Shore.
I have not stayed in the main building, but I can tell you that the cheaper rooms(next to the pool) are outdated.
Also, we got the shaft last time we were going to stay there. We called the day before arriving to ask what the rates were and if there was a lot of open rooms...we were given a price of the room and were told that there were plenty of rooms open so we dident make a reservation.
When we arrived, the room was $20 more a night than what was quoted to us on the phone. They did not give us the room for the price on the phone, so we went elsewhere. And to top it all off, the hotel was completly empty.
All in all its an o-k hotel, the pool and hot tub are decent, but the rooms are outdated.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Hey Walt, I'm just curious, but how did you go about having them give 10% off to people who mention PB?

It's because of the ad on the front page of this site ("Featured Hotels"). All part of the deal, I'm sure.

HAVE TO: Depends on when you are looking, for a July Saturday night, I'd say as close to before the season as you can. For a late August mid-week, you can probably wait until later.
CAN YOU: I believe you can make reservations now can't you? Check [url="http://resorts.cedarpoint.com/public/reservations.cfm]Cedar Point Resorts for more information.
Goodbye MrScott
John
