Song: Cedar Point 76 by the Dirtbombs

This actually took me as a shock and I never heard this song before so please tell me if this is old news and I should get out from underneath my rock

I downloaded the song above. It is somewhat explicit and makes, well lets say references to parts of the anatomy, but nothing serious. It has a nice beat and though the song has a little to do with the Point. Basically the "plot" of the song is this guy once to play a "pinball" game with a young girl in the arcade. He doesn't have any money to play and the girl broke his heart by disappearing in the corkscrew line (appropriate for 76, so the writers know a little bit of CP history. ). It shocked me that this group included the point in one of there songs.

Joe, I never heard of the song before. Where did you download it from? Could you send me a copy?
It's on the way. I got if off napster by some freaky werdio act of mine. I typed in "Cedar Point" and something came up. The odds of finding it on Napster are slim to none since only 2 people have it and it's on an almost non-populated server from napigator.

(Note, I just checked Napster and already 3 people have uploaded it)

Same here. I got it off Napster as well. Don't know what I think of it yet. Sounds a lot like an Iggy Pop inspired song. Anybody have a clue when this was produced?

I don't know, but I guess this song is spreading fast. It''s funny, I look at my upload list and I see names like TheRaven, MrMillenium and Skeeber (it sounds like a name I saw on Coasterbuzz). Guess I am not the only one who searches for MP3's related to coasters. :)

I have done some research on the dirtbombs and I guess they are a new group since I really couldn't find anything. One note is that a band member is Mick Collins who I belive was the lead guitarist with the Gories. A popular song by the Gories is Ghostrider. Unfortunately that song has nothing to do with the ride, it just has some nice riffs.

I am downloading it on napster now!

I am the king of the diamond! Let there a grand clubhouse feast, bring me the finest meats and cheeses in all the land!
I'm downloading it now too. 7 people came up when I typed it in.
It's a pretty cool song. Somewhat resembles Smash Mouth.

I was watching my Mantis quicktime, and I matched the song with the video. The match perfectly! Some of what he says in during the song are matched with elements during the ride. They are both the same length too. IF you have both of these downloaded, I recommend watching/listening to them at the same time.
Question CP_Bound...
Which mantis quicktime was it that matches up with? Is the POV on the official site?

I have had people tell me that in one of the Wu Tang Clan's songs there is a reference to Raptor and Mantis.

Yeah, you can download it from the official site. But I was making reference to the same large quicktime I downloaded during Millennium Mania--same video, just bigger and higher quality.
I think im going to put together a cedar point cd soon.if anyone can help me out it would be great.so far the songs i have to put on it are as follows...
1:get to the point
2:cedar point 76-by the dirtbombs
3:the m force theme

also just for fun I may throw in some songs from the laser show, and also some from the q lines.
if anyone has anymore suggestions that would be great.
I actually searched for Cedar Point on Napster about a month ago and saw that song and downloaded it. I thought I was weird and the only one that would do something like that. Guess not.

Is the Get to the Point song on napster too? I've searched, but have yet to find it. I had also downloaded that Cedar Point '76, but then deleted it because, frankly, I didn't like it and I thought it was freaky.
