^I think that would be a great idea.
Like the 25 cent cotten candy, they could have a couple locations that sell pop for $1.

I'd have to try to poop in time with the music. Especially if it's the "Cedar Point! Will moooove you. Get to the point, get to the poiiiint. Oooh, oooh get to the point" song.
Does certain music help you poop better?
MOO!!!
Working band organs on the carousels. If they can spend mega millions on the coasters they can afford a few thousand a year to keep the organs up and playing.
Yeah Dutchman... I was sitting at Hurricane Hannah's the other day, and all of a sudden I thought, "why isn't the carousel playing any music?"

What exactly was Millenium Mania? Was it something like ERT on Millenium Force?
Millenium Mania was announced as a guest appreciation initiative to give everyone a chance to ride Millennium Force. Opening year the queue for the Force was never less than three hours, usually much more, so it was a welcomed idea.
For eight evenings in September (Mon-Thu of the first 2 weeks) the park was open only from 6pm-10pm, and only select rides were open. In 2000, it was Millennium Force, Magnum, Mantis, Raptor and Power Tower. In 2001 it was Magnum, Raptor, Mantis, Power Tower, and for the first week it was Blue Streak and free rides on Vertigo instead of Millenium Force because of the cable snapping incident.
There was next to no one at the park! It was absolutely incredible! 6 rides on Magnum without getting off; 4 rides on Raptor without getting off; 8 consequtive up launches on Power Tower; a two minute wait for the Force on opening year! It was an enthusiast's dream!
Unfortunately they were not likely an investor's dream, as the event likely brought in a LOT less people than expected.
Maybe one day... *** Edited 7/5/2006 1:06:48 PM UTC by Jay the Great***

I thought I heard somewhere they had limited the number of people they let into the event each night....?

Bring back the Jumbo Jet and THEN fix the carousels (hope that was spelled right)...... And Dutchman is right - If they can spend Bucho bucks on rollercoasters why not spend a few grand and fix the music on the carousels?????? The caliopes are better than the taped music and add to the atmosphere of CP!!!!
Please remain seated until the ride comes to a complete AND final stop.....
While they're at it, they can bring back Leap the Dips.
I miss stuff as much as the next guy, but it's inevitable. Besides, if stuff didn't get removed you wouldn't have anything to whine to your grandkids about.
You: "Why, back in my day they had a hokey, poorly maintained animatronic pirate ride!"
Them: "That's nice...I'm going to go ride that 1000 ft 200 mph maglev coaster again..."
You: "And they had tigers! And dolphins!"
Them: "What are those?"
You: "You could get a comb for ten cents too! Wait! Why does no one listen to me anymore...I sure could use some music to help me poop..."
j/k, I miss the character a lot of those old attractions added to the place.

Is the "maglev" coaster the way of the future? ;)

There was a "limited number of tickets available", but I highly doubt they came anywhere near selling out.
I'd pay almost any price to do that all over again!

When they bring back the organs on the carousels they can add back the arm that dispenses the rings you can grab as you pass by.
Knoebels still has that and it makes people want to ride the carousel.
eat. sleep. ride! - Coaster apparel and accessories!
Ride on, MrScott!
